Global Learning Courses

Throughout my four years at Florida International University I wanted to expand my knowledge on my community nationally and internationally. In elementary school I was chosen to participate in a Leadership program, which allowed me to discover the power of leading by example. Later on, during my senior year in high school I was chosen to partake in the Get Global International Certificate Program. I participated in various seminars to discuss the ongoing global issues worldwide and develop solutions to solve global injustices with my classmates, professors, and worldwide ambassadors . One of my favorite quotes is by Mahatma Gandhi, who states "Be the change you want to see in the world." This quotes is very empowering and has encouraged me to further develop my skills in leadership, aid those in need including citizens from minority communities, get involved in get global opportunities, and empower others to partake in building a better future for us all. This is the reason why I decided to take several global learning courses throughout my undergrad, including the following
